5 Best OSes 2013

As you can see the blog direction is changing to become a blog for general computing.
I am really sorry for the gaffe that I made when I posted the last compilation of best OSes.
I wanted it to be on this blog but it ended up on Joel's Blog.Anyway,I am not posting pictures like I did last time because I am really lazy. So, let's get started!
5.Chromium OS
Not so good because you cannot install it on the hard drive.
Would recommend this to netbook users.

4.Ubuntu
Fairly good because the UI is the controversial Unity and the system requirements are high.

3.Linux Mint
OK because it ditches Unity in favour of Mate or Cinnamon.

2.Puppy Linux
So-so because you have to burn a CD/DVD to run it, which becomes an inconvenience when you consider that not many
computers have CD/DVD drives nowadays.

1.Lubuntu
Best OS because you can install it to your hard drive and it is very light.

Beware of counterfeits

Beware of counterfeits.Counterfeit electronics, especially. They can be dissapointing.HenceEdomite not buy from Shenzhen. You could get scammed. For example, three years ago, an American bought what he thought was a Lenovo Thinkpad with Intel Core 2 Duo.When he returned home, he found out that it was much older computer.Although it was an original IBM Thinkpad with an Intel Pentium processor,it was the same as buying a Shanzai PC.

Make a net book

Step 1. Get a donor PC.
Find an old computer of any configuration that is suitable for this project.
It should be
A laptop that runs Windows 2000 or above.
Has 256 MB-8GB of RAM(random access memory)
Can run on battery power
No luck? Search around one more time or buy one of these laptops:
Toshiba NB550D
Toshiba Qosmio F750
Toshiba Portege Z830
Step 2:Install the OS
Download one of the OSes from its respective website:

Give the gift of technology!

Is your loved one's birthday near?Wondering what to give to him/her?Let me tell you!
For Him
An old Netbook(if it has been previously used by you, change the hard drive.)
A laptop
A tablet computer
A desktop
For Her
A pink Netbook
A pink laptop
A pink tablet computer or an iPad
Let me tell you about the origins of this post:
I got a HP Mini 5101 and the tablet computer that I used to write this post.As soon as I got it, I wondered what to do. The first few days yielded no ideas. An idea sprang up last night.
I decided to buy a new hard drive, install it onto the Acer, install Xubuntu, and give it to Kai Yi on her birthday.
Well,that's all for today. Bye!
